We started with a simple idea. Stop relying on plastic.

Genesi is a vegan leather company based in Oregon, USA, committed to sustainability and reducing microplastic pollution in humans and animals. As a team, we’ve spent years researching and thinking about ways to reduce microplastics from our own lives. After significant bench research and development, we have created a material that looks, feels, and performs like traditional leather and gratefully avoids the use of harsh, toxic chemicals and petrochemicals. We’ve started calling it “intentional leather” because of our deep seeded intention along the journey to move ourselves from adding microplastics.
